Accuphase er noget nær det ypperste fra Japan, og er blandt andet kendt for deres cd-afspillere.
Tidligere ingeniører fra Kenwood, gik i slutningen af 70´erne ud og stiftede deres eget hi-fi firma. Med sig havde de en masse ideer til produkter som senere skulle blive legendariske.
Idag er Accuphase´s rygte uovertruffent og mærket er især kendt for sin absolut kompromisløse konstruktion og generel byggekvalitet. Der benyttes kun komponenter af højeste klasse og på trods af et, til stadighed, meget konservativt udseende, er produkterne bygget til at holde og fungere problemfrit i mange, mange år.
